Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board (KMSAB) Open Session

Department of Work and Pensions and Adult Safeguarding

These Open Sessions are facilitated by the Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board and are open to all.

These sessions are free of charge and will focus on providing a space where attendees can engage with the Kent and Medway Safeguarding Adults Board to discuss topical issues and current planned activity being delivered across Kent and Medway, as part of their professional or personal development. Each session will provide the opportunity to meet some key people responsible for safeguarding in Kent and Medway and ask them questions about their service.

In response to learning from Safeguarding Adults Reviews, this session will be hosted by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) Team, who will be raising awareness of their role and the ability to release large back payments to adults at risk in a planned and supportive way.
