These services support needs from escalating and ensure children and families are supported at the earliest stage by the most appropriate service. Professionals supporting families can use this directory to signpost to other services who may be able to assist a family in need.

Funded by BBC Children in Need, weekly sessions help 8–13 year olds try new activities, connect with their community and discover their potential.
Wide family support - signposting, information and practical support provided to registered families supporting a holistic approach.
Turning Tides clubs in Southend operate on the Balmoral and Woodgrange estates. Since its launch, the project has supported over 350 children aged 8–12.
The free programme is designed to build confidence, improve mental and physical wellbeing, and encourage positive community action. Weekly activities help children develop self-belief, social skills, and healthier lifestyles. Community projects enable young people to take action on issues that matter to them, while working with local groups to foster a sense of belonging and raise aspirations.
