Joint Southend Safeguarding Childrens and Adults Partnership (SSPC and SSPA) Training Strategy

Southend Safeguarding Partnership does not currently offer any training, although an annual conference and thematic events through the year will return once social distancing measures are removed.

Essex and Thurrock Safeguarding Partnerships have kindly agreed to accommodate Southend professionals on their training programmes, which can be accessed via their websites. Please note it is the responsibility of organisations to assure themselves of the quality and relevance of any safeguarding training to their workforce. 

Historically the Partnership’s eLearning has been delivered via Virtual College, and a number of organisations in the area use EduCare   

Southend Learning Network also deliver and publicise training for schools and early years settings and Southend Borough Council offer safeguarding training to the care sector Any queries on their training can be directed to [email protected].
