A Guide to Early Help, Early Intervention & Navigating the SEND System

When your child is showing signs they may be neurodivergent, or you’re waiting for a diagnosis, it can feel overwhelming, uncertain and isolating. Many families tell us they don’t know where to start or what they’re entitled to while they wait.

That’s why STRM (SEND the Right Message) and MyOTAS (My Own Time And Space) and Essex Family Forum, have worked together to create this Early Help and Early Intervention Pack — a calm, practical starting point for families at the beginning of their SEND journey.
